The first step to good health and wellness starts with you

Covenant Wellness Center has been over 20 years in the making. After serving in and being honorably discharged from the United States Army, I returned home with my husband and we settled in Carencro. Shortly after, I enrolled in massage therapy school. It was there that God planted a seed in my heart—the vision of a wellness center that would bring together different practitioners and healing modalities under one roof.

My passion for wellness comes from my own story. From the age of 14, I struggled with hormone imbalances, severe mineral deficiencies, adrenal fatigue, and chronic insomnia. For years, I lived on one to four hours of sleep a night, pushing through with sheer willpower. By 2019, my health had completely collapsed—hypothyroidism worsened, the weight piled on, my heart and liver were failing, and I was at the end of my rope.

I lost faith in the healthcare system after spending more than the cost of a house and still having no answers. Even after a lifetime of eating clean, exercising, and being careful with my health, my body wasn’t healing. I remember telling my husband one day in May of 2019 that it was time to get my things in order—I truly didn’t believe I had more than two months left. I tried to stay hopeful and prayerful, but deep inside I knew I was dying.

But God wasn’t finished with me yet. Through His grace and guidance, my health began to turn around. I was reminded that He is the ultimate healer, and that my journey wasn’t ending—it was just beginning.

Out of that journey, Covenant Wellness Center was born. My team and I are honored to bring this vision to life—a place where every person is truly seen, heard, and cared for. A place where faith, wellness, and intention meet.
