our story
Covenant Wellness Center has been a story in the making for the last 21 years. After serving in and being honorably discharged from the United States Army, Jennifer and her husband settled in Carencro. Shortly after moving to Carencro, Jennifer found herself in school for massage therapy. While in school, a seed was planted and she began to envision a wellness center, that housed different practitioners and modalities under one roof.
From the age of 14, Jennifer struggled with hormone imbalance, severe mineral deficiencies, slept one to four hours a night and her adrenals were completely shot. Fast forward to 2019, her hypothyroidism was getting worse, the weight was piling on, her heart and liver were failing and she was at the end of the rope, literally! “I lost faith in all healthcare providers, spent enough money to buy a house, and still had no answers as to why I wasn’t getting better and why my body wasn’t healing. Even after a lifetime of eating clean, working out and carefully watching anything coming toward my mouth. I had lost hope and knew that I wasn’t going to last another two months. In May 2019, told my husband that I needed to get my things in order, and that I needed to prepare for the end. He didn’t realize it was that bad; I always try to be positive, prayerful and hopeful. I knew that I was going to die and no one would have answers for me or my family.”
A dear friend introduced Jennifer to Christine and God told her that this was the key to her survival and healing. God worked through Christine to start healing Jennifer’s body. For the first time in 30 years, Jennifer had hope and faith that this nurse practitioner could help. Christine Palmer, FNP has been instrumental in helping Jennifer’s body heal with the correct minerals and herbs.
Jennifer and her team are excited to bring you “Covenant Wellness Center, LLC”! They will be able to serve their patients and customers better, right here in the heart of Carencro.
